We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 SEN Support Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Chelmsford, supporting a Key Stage 2 pupil.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with experience in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), who is passionate about making a positive impact on a child's learning and development.
Requirements- Previous experience supporting children with SEN
- Experience working within a primary or mainstream school setting
- Understanding of the KS2 curriculum
- A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a KS2 pupil
- Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs
- Support emotional, social, and academic development
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
