Established in 1964, this long standing small animal practice in the beautiful coastal town of Scarborough, North Yorkshire, is seeking a passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and dedicated team.
About the PracticeNestled between the sea and the stunning North Yorkshire Moors National Park, the practice offers the best of both worlds - a vibrant coastal lifestyle and easy access to the historic city of York. Scarborough is a lively university town, perfect for those who enjoy outdoor pursuits such as surfing, diving, sailing, cycling, and walking.
This forward thinking, RCVS accredited, single site practice is proud to deliver high standards of veterinary care to a loyal client base. The team is small but perfectly formed, with a supportive and collaborative culture at its heart.
The practice is well equipped with digital x ray, dental x ray, ultrasound (including cardiac probe), an in house laboratory, and a comprehensive range of orthopaedic equipment. They see an interesting and varied caseload, ensuring no two days are ever the same.
The RoleThe incoming Veterinary Surgeon will work alongside a close knit team of professionals who are committed to supporting one another. The role includes 1 in 3 Saturday mornings and no out of hours, allowing for an excellent work life balance.
Flexible working arrangements are welcomed, whether full time or part time, to suit individual circumstances. The team prides itself on providing mentorship and development opportunities - certificates are encouraged and supported, and for complex cases, specialists are available for advice and collaboration.
