Job Title: Validation Engineer

Location: Manchester, Northwest.

Salary / Benefits: £35k - £45k + Training + Benefits

Level of Experience: Trainee Validation Engineer through to Lead Validation Engineer

Our client is a professional and established clean air company that provides their varied portfolio of clients with a full range of validation and LEV services. We are looking for a hardworking, qualified Validation Engineer based around Manchester. The ideal candidate will hold the BOHS P601 and relevant Eastwood Park training and have extensive experience carrying out cleanroom validations in accordance with HTM 0301, along with airflow and pressure measurements, noise and environmental measurements, and auditing of AHUs.

Experience & Qualifications

• Experience working as a validation engineer within the critical ventilation / healthcare sector
• Ideally hold the P601 and relevant Eastwood Park Training
• Experience undertaking a wide range of critical ventilation testing
• Proven track record of validating and verifying ventilation systems in accordance with HTM 03-01 regulations
• Experience testing LEV's, fume cupboards, laminar flow cabinets desirable but not essential
• Demonstrated understanding of compliance and health & safety guidelines
• Excellent organisational skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office

The Role

• Testing critical ventilation systems within the healthcare sector; validating and verifying systems in accordance with relevant industry regulations
• Carrying out airflow and pressure measurements, microbiological air sampling, noise and environmental measurements, auditing of Air Handling Units (AHUs), and re-balancing airflows
• Carrying DOP and HEPA testing
• Report writing and consulting with clients on findings and recommendations
• Maintenance of instruments & equipment, arranging repairs and recalibrations when necessary
• Providing support and training to site engineers
