Electrical Technical Manager - Manchester-based Contractor

Your new company is a tier 1 contractor with multiple offices across the UK who pride themselves on delivering a high-quality standard of work to a wide range of clients.
Their current projects include: Co-op Live arena, Circle Square offices, Manchester City's Etihad North stand, Leisure centres, MoJ schemes, and Mayfield office developments. Your new company has thousands of staff working across the country who work mostly in a remote capacity.

Your new role
Your new role will see you working as a Technical Manager on the projects mentioned above, and although you won't be directly line managing specific individuals, you will be seen as a person to come to for design advice, while also having direct impact on the hiring and reviewing of new and existing staff and be involved with the 'big picture' meetings with other members of the management team.
For smaller projects, you will balance 4-5 schemes and, for larger schemes, that would be considered one full-time project.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will have strong Electrical Building Services experience with a minimum of 5 years' UK experience at either a consultancy or contractor level.
Communication is key to succeeding in the role as you will have regular contact with QS, PMs, Estimators and Bid Managers amongst other key staff.
