Job Description

Are you a seasoned Technical Delivery Manager looking for your next challenge? Our client, a leading UK-based financial services group, is seeking a talented and experienced Technical Delivery Manager to join their team. With a rich history spanning over 300 years, our client is committed to creating a more sustainable and inclusive future, shaping finance as a force for good.

In this role, you will play a pivotal position within the Platform, allowing you to shape and deliver against its objectives. As a Technical Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and integrating technical components across multiple Labs and third parties. You will work closely with the Product Owner and Engineering Lead to prioritise deliverables and ensure a seamless customer experience.

Key activities of the role include:

Coordinating the integration process and implementation events across shared infrastructure.Leading the Service Introduction process, ensuring a smooth transition and delivery.Collaborating with stakeholders outside of the lab to enable seamless delivery.Proactively identifying and troubleshooting technical issues to minimise blockers.Serving as the interface between the supplier and key business stakeholders.Leading complex and high-risk implementations, ensuring safe and successful delivery.Providing consultancy for governance activities owned by the Product Owner.Facilitating the delivery of technology risk and control improvements.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in Delivery/Project Management, specifically in technical change programmes within a financial setting. Your ability to translate complex technical solutions into non-engineering terminology will be key. Additionally, experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence, along with exceptional leadership and relationship-building skills, will be highly valued.

The client offers a competitive salary from £80,000 per annum (dependent on experience), along with a range of benefits including pension contributions, holiday and sick pay, medical insurance, and access to training materials.
