Position: Technical Assessor

Location: Liverpool

The Role

  • To operate Tradebe's sales enquiry and sales administrative function from receipt of enquiries through to quotations, onward routing, invoicing, and procedural control. To ensure through technical assessment, compliance and current legislation, all enquiries are processed in a timely manner in line with company procedure.
  • Technically assess all waste enquiries generated by the sales team or direct enquiries.
  • Ensure compliance of all waste quotes with current legislation, Tradebe's Permits, Waste Management Licences and within strict KPI's.
  • To control waste acceptance/analysis operations in line with the company's ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 systems.
  • Liaise with existing clients and 3rd parties to fulfil customer requirements.
  • To maintain effective record keeping and documentation to accepted/approved methods and procedures.
  • To ensure that all work under his/her control is carried out within the company's BMS requirements.
  • General administration as and when require.

The Person

Essential Skills:

  • Minimum HNC in Chemistry
  • In depth appreciation and understanding of technical/chemical waste analysis, management operation, customers, and processes.
  • The Technical Assessor must be prepared to be always consulted by customers and colleagues and give sound technical advice.
  • The Technical Assessor is required to keep the Technical Assessment Department Manager informed of all relevant happenings.
