Social Care Leader responsibilities:
  • Guide and support a team of Social Care Workers to ensure the highest standards of care.
  • Work closely with the Deputy Manager and Social Care Manager to build a positive, nurturing environment.
  • Contribute to team development and the smooth operation of the service.
Requirements
  • Level 7 or higher qualification in Applied Social Care (CORU-approved or eligible).
  • Full, clean manual driving licence.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience at Social Care grade within Mainstream, Disability, or Residential Services. Ideally, including experience in Mainstream care.
  • Strong understanding of HIQA/Tusla standards and trauma-informed practice.
  • Flexibility to work across a 24/7 residential rota, including sleepovers and alternate weekends.
Vetting Requirement
  • Successful candidates will be subject to Garda Vetting through Tusla and the National Vetting Bureau.
