Senior Workforce Intelligence Analyst

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Workforce Intelligence Analyst to join our dynamic Workforce Intelligence team at University College London Hospitals.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and delivery of high quality workforce analytics that inform decision making at all levels across the organisation.
Our ideal candidate will have a vast background in Workforce Analytics, good people skills and the ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels.
The successful candidate will be joining an award winning Workforce Intelligence function embedded within the Workforce Directorate.
Main duties of the job- Workforce Reporting and Analytics - Responsible for developing and maintaining a dynamic suite of Workforce reports using ESR BI, PowerBI and the local data warehouse.
- Data Quality and Governance - Leading on improving data quality to ensure UCLH remains in the top quartile nationally; analysing national data quality reports and maintaining high data quality standards.
- Cross Trust Reporting Support - Development of dashboards collaborating with Finance, Performance and Planning and clinical teams; representation of Workforce Intelligence at Trust wide meetings.
- Establishment Control and Position Management - Leading on the governance, accuracy and maintenance of the Trust's establishment control, acting as SME on these matters.
- Other duties - Contribute to ensuring UCLH meets its Top 10 priorities; comply with Trust policies and procedures; support continuous improvement initiatives to meet quality, financial and performance targets; support the Chief People Officer in meeting workforce performance targets; undertake tasks and projects as directed by the Workforce Systems & Intelligence Manager or Workforce Intelligence Business Partner; support the development and analysis of an evolving portfolio of workforce metrics.

Person Specification Knowledge and Qualifications- Educated to post GCSE level
- Evidence of continuing professional development including regular attendance on internal and external study programmes
- Experience in carrying out data analysis and handling large complex data sets from multiple data sources
- Knowledge of Electronic Staff Records (ESR) in an acute NHS Setting
- Experience of working in a high intensity data driven environment.
- Expert data analysis skills with the ability to interpret large complex data sets with ease.
- Proven NHS/public sector experience.
- Engaging and motivating others.
- Experience of being able to balance competing priorities and meet personal and organisational targets.
- Proven track record of delivering to KPIs and targets.
- Experience maintaining or analysing establishment structures.
- Quality focussed with an innovative, flexible approach and the ability to problem solve.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Well organised, systematic thinker.
- Able to manage a high-volume workload.
- Ability to respond to urgent situations in a calm, empathetic and logical manner and manage stressful situations.
- Sound IT skills (Microsoft Office, Word), experience of manipulating HR databases.
- Ability to form, build, develop and maintain positive and effective working relationships with people from a wide range of personal and professional backgrounds including client managers and team members.
- Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and listening.
