Job Description
Lead the development and execution of commercial initiatives and getting approval from a variety of internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with product team to identify new business opportunities and act as the risk expert. Prototyping pricing and margin algorithms addressing various types of risk and financial products. Collaborate with risk teams to evaluate, review and improve exitsting models, incorporating market trends and internal needs. Provide guidance on risk models usage and act as a key of contact for the business on all queries regarding the understanding of the methodologies. Ensure all processes and methodologies are thoroughly documented, maintained and updated to reflect best practices. Oversee the quality of all documentation related to projects and risk management processes ensuring consistency, clarity and compliance with internal standards. Review and ensure the accuracy and the quality of FLR documents providing feedback and revisions when necessary. Act as the primary liaison between Paris and London teams, ensuring smooth communication and alignment in key objectives. Mentor junior members of the team. The role reports directly into the head of RepoClear, EquityClear and CALM Risk Quant and Change team head. Degree or equivalent finance/quantitative finance, mathematics, computer science-related disciplines, preferably a Masters' degree or PHD or equivalent experience, Computational skills (SQL, R, Python, VBA) and good numerical competency. 10+ years experience in a quantitative or risk role Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Solid critical thinking Strong communication skills (written and oral) with the ability to articulate complex concepts through concise and clear information Excellent interpersonal skills Hard-working and able to work both independently and collaboratively as a part of a global team Highly organized, detail oriented and have effective time management.
