What You'll Be Doing as a Senior ICA EngineerYou'll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering engineering excellence across Thames Water's assets. Your responsibilities will include:
Ensure that control and instrumentation requirements are accurately captured in project technical briefs to support effective design and delivery.- A recognised senior design engineer in their Engineering Discipline, probably including expertise in design and specifying PLC and SCADA systems, data/telemetry networks and Safety Instrument Systems and with meaningful experience in the water industry.
- Degree level or equivalent with professional chartership preferred in their Engineering Discipline or on their roadmap of professional development.
- Understanding of the regulatory environment to achieve compliance with our engineering regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, both internally and externally.
- Collaborate actively with the ability to influence senior colleagues.
- A passion for continuous professional development and an active approach to driving diversity within Engineering at Thames.
- Ability to produce detailed system architecture drawings, control philosophies, I/O lists, Instrument data sheets, etc, as part of the engineering design process.
- Competitive salary from £55,000 to £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- 26 days holiday per year, increasing to 30 with the length of service (plus bank holidays)
