Overview

Senior Biomedical Scientist - Blood Sciences at Brighton Hospital, Pathology, Permanent Contract, Full Time. Salary dependent upon experience. 37.5 hours per week.

Main duties of the job

Deliver quality pathology services and take a share of covering out-of-hours service as required. Perform biomedical diagnostic testing, interpretation and reporting, through to quality control. Keep records of specimens, results, reagents and consumables. Support the organisation in validating and assessing new equipment and developing new diagnostic procedures. This is part of our ongoing quest to deliver the very best experience possible for patients.

Nuffield Health Brighton Hospital. The Nuffield Health Brighton Hospital is recognised for its friendly atmosphere, clinical expertise, and high standards of care. Our purpose-built hospital has been established since 1995. It offers 35 en-suite bedrooms, a busy outpatient and pre-assessment departments. We also provide a diagnostic imaging service (MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Mammography and X-ray), pathology, surgical recovery ward, oncology unit, 3 state-of-the-art operating theatres and physiotherapy services.

Job responsibilities

Senior Biomedical Scientist - Blood Sciences, Brighton Hospital Pathology Permanent Contract Full Time. Salary dependent upon experience. 37.5 hours per week. As a Biomedical Scientist at our Brighton Hospital, you will bring relevant qualifications and laboratory experience in multidisciplinary biomedical science. You have a good working knowledge of different analytical equipment in a range of techniques. You are a natural communicator and team player, and you share our idea of quality. As a Biomedical Scientist you will:

Qualifications and experience
