Azure DevOps Engineer - Core Infrastructure & Governance - 12 months - Hybrid - Contract

Are you passionate about building secure, scalable, and compliant cloud environments? We're looking for a Senior Azure Engineer to design and implement advanced Azure Landing Zones with a strong focus on networking, security, identity, and governance.

What you'll do:

• Design and deploy Azure Landing Zones aligned with compliance standards
• Develop reusable Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) modules using Bicep
• Integrate security, backup, and observability solutions
• Apply frameworks like BIO, NIS2, CIS, and sovereign cloud principles
• Continuously improve and expand the cloud portfolio

What we're looking for:

• Deep expertise in Azure networking, identity (Azure AD), RBAC, Policy, Defender, Monitor
• Hands-on experience with IaC (Bicep) and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps)
• Strong understanding of compliance in regulated sectors
• Familiarity with Sovereign Cloud principles

Nice to have:

• Experience with BIO, NIS2, or Microsoft Sentinel
• Knowledge of GitOps tools (FluxCD, ArgoCD)
• Exposure to IDP, Crossplane, or Policy-as-Code
• Dutch speaking
