About the Role:

Manguard Plus is seeking an experienced and capable Security Operations & IT supervisor to oversee day-to-day security operations at a critical national infrastructure site in Dublin. This is a supervisory and people management role requiring strong leadership, operational coordination, and reporting skills. The successful candidate will lead an on-site security team, act as the primary point of escalation, and ensure operational continuity and compliance at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, supervise, and coordinate the on-site security team on a day-to-day basis
  • Manage shift scheduling, team deployment, and workforce planning to ensure adequate site coverage
  • Act as the primary point of escalation for incidents, ensuring swift resolution and operational continuity
  • Maintain accurate operational reports, logs, and compliance documentation in line with client and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct regular briefings, performance reviews, and coaching sessions with team members
  • Liaise with the client site management team to understand operational needs and communicate updates
  • Support onboarding, and induction processes for new team members
  • Monitor and enforce health, safety, and security protocols across the site
  • Identify operational risks and recommend process improvements to management
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a security, operations, or facilities management environment
  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership or supervisory roles
  • Strong people management skills including scheduling, performance management, and conflict resolution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to produce accurate operational reports and maintain compliance records
  • Valid PSA licence (or willingness to obtain)
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working at a critical infrastructure or corporate campus site
  • Familiarity with HR systems, rostering software, or incident management tools
  • Third-level qualification in security management, business, or a related discipline
