Contract: Fixed Term, Term Time Only (Part time 20 or 10 hours per week)

Hours: 20 hours per week (Monday - Friday, 7pm - 7pm). 10 hours per week (Monday - Friday, 5pm - 5pm) - job share option.

Salary: £19,790.40 full time equivalent (pro rated for part time hours)

About the School

North Lakes Children's Services is a well established local provider of therapeutic residential care and education for boys aged 6 18. The school aims to improve the resilience, self esteem and abilities of all young people.

Role Responsibilities

• Vacuum cleaning and mopping floors
• Emptying and cleaning bins
• Cleaning toilets and bathroom spaces
• Replenishing bathroom supplies
• Dusting, polishing and straightening furniture and cupboard tops
• Tidying communal areas and removing hazards
• Wiping down paintwork, skirting boards and window ledges

About You

• Previous professional experience cleaning large commercial or educational buildings
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
• Flexible approach and willingness to carry out all reasonable cleaning tasks
• Proficiency in using a range of cleaning equipment and products
• Clear and confident communication skills
• Prepared to undergo training in health & safety, confidentiality and safeguarding practices

The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check, the cost of which will be met by the school.
