Responsible Investments Product Specialist - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

In the role, you will be responsible for supporting our Product Specialists and the wider RI team to deliver excellent service to our global client base, invested across ESG and Sustainable funds.
You will support client interaction and our responsible business growth, and increasingly become a subject matter expert across our responsible investment capabilities. You will have a passion for ESG, be analytical, a hard-working team player, eager to learn and articulate with good attention to detail.
How you'll spend your time
You will support the delivery of an excellent client experience for investors across our ESG and Sustainable range, and the growth of our client base, including:
- Developing and updating presentations materials that showcase our responsible investment capabilities and approach.
- Responding to client queries, gathering information from the broader team and distilling it into client-friendly content.
- Supporting the production of new business RFPs and due diligence documents, acting as the responsible investment point person and SME.
- Responding to client requests for ESG data, and help interpreting that data, primarily using Aladdin.
- Support in preparing materials to promote the Responsible Investment team/Columbia Threadneedle Investments in the ESG marketplace.
You will stay abreast of key industry trends, regulations, and investor flows, and share insights with key stakeholders:
- Develop knowledge of ESG regulations (e.g. SFDR and SDR) and our fund range, to educate Distribution Teams on key evolving issues.
- Digest and summarise quarterly industry trends and flows information and share observations with the Team.
- As required, undertake competitor analysis to support our 'Fund Pod' (those team members supporting our ESG/Sustainable fund range).
To be successful in this role you will have
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
- Experience within Responsible Investment or client services/relationship management.
- Ability to work collaboratively across our team and the wider organisation.
- Proactivity, and the desire to deliver excellent client service.
- Experience interpreting datasets.
- A passion to understand and build ESG knowledge and apply it in a practical context.
