Job Description

Leading US firm is hiring a Research Administrator to join the London office permanently. This is a fantastic opportunity for either a recent graduate or someone with minimal office experience.

Salary up to £33,000

Exceptional benefits including a free on-site gym

Hybrid Working - 3 in the office, 2 remotely

Responsibilities for the Research Administrator:

  • Data & Research Resource Management
  • On-boarding new joiners; processing leavers, secondees, returners from parental leave
  • Managing online resources including passwords & user lists o Maintaining departmental processes re on-boarding
  • Database Maintenance
  • Maintaining departmental portal pages (SharePoint)
  • Supporting and maintaining the library management system (Sydney Enterprise) - keeping records accurate and standardised, creating new records, archiving old subscription records Acquisitions & Financial Management
  • Operational Support
  • Performing administrative duties such as shelving, circulation, stock-taking, resource weeding across a number of departmental libraries o Updating looseleaf titles

Key requirements for the Research Administrator:

  • Knowledge or experience within a library setting preferred, not essential
  • Strong Microsoft Office experience
  • Exceptional organisational and communication skills
