Recruitment Consultant

Workshop Recruitment is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Recruitment Consultant to join our Drayton office, located on the outskirts of Portsmouth. We are looking for hungry, customer-centric individuals to join our busy construction division. The role involves resourcing candidates, managing the candidate process, and liaising with clients regarding interviews and submissions. This position is suitable for candidates with over 1 year of recruitment experience.

This role is ideal for someone seeking reduced hours or part-time work. The key working days are Monday and Friday, with a flexible third day during the week.

Duties

1. Resource candidates for live roles and speculative calls.
2. Manage the entire candidate hiring process.
3. Conduct client meetings to understand new vacancies.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to meet client requirements after securing new business.
5. Perform lead generation tasks and identify new business opportunities.

Skills and Knowledge

1. Previous recruitment experience is desirable.
2. Self-motivated and proactive.
3. Ability to work closely with candidates and clients to identify needs and suitability.
4. Skilled in objection handling, listening, client retention, and rapport building.
5. Excellent negotiation skills.
6. Strong organizational skills.
7. Ability to meet deadlines and achieve targets.
