QA Engineer - Fintech Fully Remote (UK) £60,000-£65,000

About the Role

Our client within the Fintech space is scaling rapidly and transforming the way money moves. Quality is at the heart of everything they do, and you'll play a key role in ensuring their products remain robust, secure and seamless as they continue to grow.

As part of a collaborative full stack product team-including product managers, designers, engineers, test engineers, and subject matter experts-you'll help shape their testing strategy and bring their product vision to life.

What You'll Be Doing

• Driving quality from initial concept through to final product release
• Creating detailed, well structured test plans and test cases
• Building and maintaining automated testing processes
• Expanding and strengthening automated regression test coverage
• Identifying, reporting and working closely with the team to resolve defects
• Contributing to architectural discussions with a focus on testability
• Monitoring and reporting key QA metrics
• Staying ahead of industry trends, tools and testing strategies

What We're Looking For

• Experience working with Foreign Exchange (FX) systems (desirable but not essential)
• Strong grasp of QA methodologies, tools and best practices
• Hands on experience using Cypress
• Solid JavaScript programming skills
• Strong SQL knowledge
• Experience with both white box and black box testing
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Detail oriented, quality driven mindset
• High levels of honesty and integrity
• Ability to effectively use AI tools for test planning, documentation and analysis

Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS or Azure
