money.co.uk exists to help consumers make more informed financial decisions. Our free, online comparison service allows consumers to compare financial products, from credit cards to savings accounts, loans to travel money. We want our users to feel reassured that we're on their side when it comes to their finances.

We are also known as the Financial Services team for Uswitch, Confused and money.co.uk, and our goal is to be the UK's favourite way to choose the best financial products for big life events - from Credit Cards to use on while travelling to Savings Accounts to help move you closer to a dream purchase. As we continue to grow and expand our services, we are looking for talented individuals who share our passion for making a positive impact on people's lives. If you want to be part of a team that is transforming the way consumers navigate their finances, we would love to hear from you.

About the role:

We're currently hiring for a product manager to take ownership of ongoing development of our SME Finance proposition. As a product manager, you will take ownership of the product roadmap, strategy, and execution of key finance-related initiatives, including integration with providers, onsite optimisations and development of a new account and re-engagement proposition for our SME customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, operations, and business stakeholders) to build and enhance features that improve our current offering and create seamless experiences for our customers and partners.
What you'll be doing:
  • Developing a deep understanding of the industry and our users and using that to drive development of the product
  • Liaising directly with Lending and credit partners to help develop and build out product capabilities
  • Owning performance for the area - responsible for day to day management and working with our data team to improve visibility and reporting where needed.
  • Deliver incremental product improvements alongside driving forward strategic initiatives to achieve wider business goals
  • Align and engage stakeholders, set the product roadmap, prioritise features, build consensus, and coordinate product schedules with business teams, engineers and/or independent contractors to ship high-quality experiences;
  • Foster a culture of testing, data-driven decision making, and accountability for metrics and results;
  • Host and coordinate milestone reviews, updating and engaging key stakeholders with progress of stories; negotiating priorities, scope and sequencing

What we're looking for
  • Prior experience with SME focussed finance products would be beneficial, especially in the lending or brokering space
  • You are analytically minded, comfortable using data to understand and communicate product performance (experience with Google Analytics, SQL, Google Sheets and/or Segment beneficial)
  • You create structure out of ambiguity and have a pragmatic "can do" and "make it happen" attitude in a collaborative way
  • You will be confident and have had success in leading and developing a cross functional collaborative platform or product team
  • We are a small and fast moving team and you will need experience working to dynamic priorities, working with cross functional stakeholders to understand and define problems, scope out end-to-end solutions and manage delivery to completion
  • You have demonstrable success delivering consumer facing products that drive real user value and business financial goals
  • You understand the value of both user experience and A/B testing to find product/market fit

Our commitment to you:
At RVU, we are dedicated to developing valuable, inclusive, and user-friendly products and services that deliver positive outcomes for all of our customers. To achieve this it's essential that our teams reflect the diverse range of people in our community. We believe in being the change we wish to see in the world, by embracing our differences and holding ourselves accountable to being open and inclusive teammates and wider community members.
What we offer We want to give you a great work environment, support your growth both personally and professionally, and provide benefits that make your time at RVU even more enjoyable. Here are some of the benefits you can look forward to:
  • 10% discretionary yearly bonus and yearly pay reviews (based on RVU and personal performance)
  • A hybrid working approach with 2 in-office days per week and up to 22 working days per year to "work from anywhere"
  • Employer matching pension contributions up to 7.5%
  • A one-off £300 "Work from Home" budget to help contribute towards a great work environment at home
  • Excellent maternity, paternity, shared parental and adoption leave policy, for those key moments in your life
  • 25 days holiday (increasing to 30 days) + 2 days "My Time" per year
  • Private medical cover, critical illness cover, dental plans and employee assistance programme
  • Employee discounts programme
  • A healthy learning and training budget
  • Electric vehicle and cycle to work schemes
  • Free in-office gym, accessible 7 days a week
  • Free breakfast in the office daily
  • You'll be equipped with great technology (choice of Mac or Windows)
  • Free access to the Calm and Peppy app for physical and mental health
  • Regular events - from team socials to company-wide events with insightful external speakers, we want to make sure our colleagues continue to feel connected

As a tech company who strives to get better every day, we use Metaview during the interview processes for note taking purposes. This records and transcribes interviews so the interviewer can fully focus on your conversation, rather than writing. This has no bearing on the assessment of you as a candidate and you can opt out at any time. Just let us know.
