Principal Structures Engineer - Senior/Principal level

We are working with a forward-thinking engineering consultancy engaged in transformational heavy civil engineering programmes. You'll join a dynamic, inclusive team to deliver solutions across high-profile sectors including Defence, Energy and Water.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a technical team to deliver design work to the highest standards, in line with relevant design codes and client requirements.
• Prepare design briefs, scopes of work and contribute to bid proposals.
• Manage project timeframes and budgets, ensuring timely milestone delivery.
• Collaborate closely across UK and international teams to deliver integrated structural design solutions.
• Maintain adherence to quality assurance standards throughout the design process.

What You Bring

• Chartered status as a Civil or Structural Engineer.
• Significant experience in design delivery, especially within multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong expertise in the analysis and design of heavy concrete and steel structural elements, familiar with British Standards
• Proficiency in structural analysis software.
• Experience in the nuclear sector (design and implementation of safety-related structures, systems and components) is strongly preferred-but exceptional candidates from other sectors will also be considered.

• £55,000 - £65,000
