Job Opportunity - Principal Accountant - Fully Remote

One of my local Government clients are currently on the lookout for an Interim Principal Accountant to join their team.

Principal Accountant

Contract Length: 6-9 Months

Pay Rate: DOE

Days: X5 p/w

Start Date: Beginning of August

Fully Remote

You will be responsible for:

• Leading on preparation for Year end financial statements and closedown next FY.
• Quarterly reporting/management accounts.
• Treasury Management is desirable.
• Collection Funds is desirable but not essential.

Successful candidates will:

• Will have local government experience leading on producing the statement of accounts for year end. - Essential.
• Will have strong technical accounting skills - Essential.
• Applicants do not necessarily need to be fully qualified accountants as the client is happy to consider candidates who are part qualified or qualified by experience.
