Are you passionate about helping young people thrive-socially, emotionally, and academically? At our school, we believe every pupil deserves the chance to shine, and as our Positive Behaviour Practitioner, you'll be at the heart of making that happen.

About the Role

This is a dynamic and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You'll work closely with our Senior Leadership Team, SENCO, and Family Support Officer to create and deliver positive behaviour strategies that empower both pupils and staff. From coaching colleagues in best practice to supporting pupils through challenging moments, you'll help shape an environment where everyone feels safe, valued, and understood.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Champion positive behaviour across the school, supporting staff to use consistent, nurturing approaches
  • Work directly with pupils to help them build confidence, emotional regulation, and social skills
  • Analyse behaviour patterns and use data to guide effective interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and pastoral teams to create personalised support plans
  • Celebrate progress, big and small, through rewards, recognition, and pupil-led initiatives
  • Support the school's mission to reduce exclusions and promote inclusion for all
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues

What We're Looking For:

  • Someone with empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting young people
  • Experience working with children or young people with behavioural or emotional needs
  • Confidence in leading by example and promoting restorative, positive approaches
  • A great communicator who can collaborate across teams and inspire others
  • A proactive problem-solver who brings energy and commitment to every day

This is your opportunity to make a real difference-to be the calm in the storm, the voice of encouragement, and the person who helps young people believe in what they can achieve.
