The opportunity
We're looking for a People Shared Services Partner to play a lead role in how we deliver brilliant, human-centred HR experiences across our business es based in the UK and Spain. Joining our progressive and collaborative People Team, you'll lead a high-performing team focused on delivering joined-up, intuitive services that support colleagues throughout their journey with us-from onboarding to offboarding, and everything in between.
In this role, you'll bring deep technical HR expertise , proven experience with Workday and other digital tools, and a passion for making things work better. Whether it's optimising our systems, evolving how we manage employee relations, or driving continuous improvement in our service delivery, you 'll champion creating simple, effective, and values-led people processes.

This role is based out of our London office. We call our approach to hybrid working The Blend - it's about giving you the flexibility to choose where you do your best work, while staying connected with your team and the wider business. This means you will be required to spend at least two days per week in the office, with the rest of the time working from home. You may also be required to work from one of our other office or partner locations, based on your role and 'to do' list.
What you'll get up to
Service Delivery
Own the delivery of a consistent, high-quality colleague experience that's fast, friendly, and efficient.
Lead and support the shared services team in managing day-to-day queries, transactions, and data processing with pace and precision.
Drive service standards through clear KPIs and SLAs-making sure we're delivering what matters.
Always put colleagues first, ensuring processes are smooth, accessible, and meet high standards of quality and care.
HR Systems and Optimisation
Be our go-to expert for Workday in People Shared Services -spotting opportunities to streamline, automate, and improve the experience.
Partner with colleagues to simplify workflows and expand self-service options that really work.
Make data work harder-ensuring accuracy, usability, and insight are built into how we operate .
Compliance, Risk and Governance
Make sure everything we do meets the right legal and compliance standards across the UK and Spain.
Build smart governance around documentation, files, and data-proactive controls, not red tape.
Be a steady hand on People guidelines and risk frameworks, balancing compliance with common sense.
Employee Relations
Lead and guide the team handling employee relations casework-bringing clarity, fairness, and rigour to every situation.
Oversee frameworks and documentation that ensure consistency and compliance.
Be a trusted escalation point and ensure we learn from what we see-informing policy, training, and support.
Team Leadership & Development
Lead with clarity and care-ensuring the team knows their priorities, plays to their strengths, and collaborates effectively.
Create a values-led environment where everyone has purpose, feels they belong, and knows how to grow.
Coach, challenge and support your team with open, honest feedback and career-building conversations.
Stakeholder Engagement
Be a visible, responsive partner to colleagues across the People team and wider business.
Communicate clearly and confidently about services, processes, and system capabilities.
Work with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless, joined-up operations.
What we need from you
Strong experience leading HR shared services or operations in a high-energy, fast-moving environment.
Hands-on expertise with Workday (and other tools), using tech to drive efficiency and better self-service.
A solid understanding of UK and Spanish employment law, particularly around employee relations.
A track record of improving processes, policies and team performance using agile ways of working, data and colleague feedback.
You're calm -able to prioritise and create clarity even when things are moving quickly.
You're always looking for a better way-solutions-focused, curious, and ready to challenge the status quo.
You thrive as part of a passionate, capable People Team and bring others along with your energy and ideas.
A natural collaborator and influencer-you build relationships quickly and drive positive change.
You understand what agility really means in a People context-and you're either experienced in it or ready to dive in and learn fast.
You're an inclusive, empowering leader who helps people do their best work and looks after their wellbeing.
You role mode and advocate for our culture and performance expectations-you have high standards for yourself and others and put the right things in place to develop both.
CIPD qualified or with equivalent practical experience.
