Responsibilities
  • ProvidelegalcounseltoallCompany'sdepartmentsandbusinessoperationsacrossEuropeandNorthAmerica.
  • ReviewcontractsandmanagetheCompany'sprocurementoperations.
  • ImplementandenhancetheCompany'scompliancemanagementandriskcontrolframework.
  • Supportcorporateinformationregistration,SponsorshipLicenseapplications,andannualregulatoryfilingsaspartofcorporategovernancemanagement.
  • DeliverlegalguidancetoallCompany'sdepartmentsandbusinessoperationsinEuropeandNorthAmerica,includingbutnotlimitedtodisputeresolution(internationalarbitration&cross-borderlitigation),majorcommercialnegotiations,andcross-bordercompliance.
  • DevelopandstrengthencollaborationswithUKlegal,financial,andbusinessinstitutions,conductingregularresearch,informationexchange,andconsultationsonlegal,financial,andbusinesspolicies.
  • Participateincontractmanagement,includingdrafting,reviewingandamendingcontracts,andmaintainingefficientdocumentorganizationofsignedcontractsphysicallyandelectronically.
  • Participateinprocurementmanagement,preparingorreviewingprocurementrequests,strategyreports,procurementworkreports,andcontractapprovalformsinaccordancewithprocurementregulations,andmaintainingefficientdocumentorganizationofsigneddocumentsphysicallyandelectronically.
  • Participateinthedevelopmentofthecompany'sinternalcontrolandriskmanagementsystem,includingestablishingandimprovinginternalcontrolandriskmanagementpolicies,conductingregularriskassessments,andproposingriskmitigationmeasures.
  • Contributetotheestablishmentofarobustcomplianceframework,supportregulatoryreviews,preparecompliancereports,andconductregulartrainingtoenhancelegalandpolicyawarenessacrossthecompany.
Qualifications
  • LLBorLLMLegalDegreefromarecognizedUniversityinUK
  • Atleasttwo(2)yearsofexperienceasalawyer(PQE)orinhousecounsel;experienceintheoilindustrywillbepreferred;
  • FluentinEnglish;proficiencyinChineseisaplus
  • ProficientinbasicofficesoftwaresuchasWord,Excel,PowerPoint,etc.
