£13.37 - £18.44 PER HOUR

Working 5 days out of 7 (typically 5 days between Monday to Saturday) and normally 11:00 - 18:00, you will be part of an important network of delivery drivers.

Earning from £13.37 to £18.44 per hour, this is an opportunity not to be missed.

Day to Day Duties

As the face of the business in the local area, your day will start with you spending an hour or so in the local delivery office, sorting the mail / parcels for your route and taking out a van to start your round.

You'll then be responsible for:

• Delivering mail and parcels to houses and businesses within the area.
• Working flexible hours to deliver outstanding levels of service.
• Using a hand-held computer device to act as a routing system and obtain customer signatures for deliveries.

Essential Skills

Essentially skills for this role are:

• A full UK driving licence, with no more than 6 points for insurance reasons
• Good time keeping
• A professional appearance and attitude, & confident when dealing with people
• The ability to work equally well as part of a team and on your own initiative

Desirable Experience

• Experience in a similar delivery role would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given.
• If you hold an in date DBS / DS certificate this would be an advantage, however not essential as clearance can be obtained for you.

What training is provided?

Training on the use of the PDA scanners and routing systems will be provided.
