Manager Social Sustainability and Human Rights (f/m/d)

As a social sustainability and human rights manager you will become part of the newly founded Center of Expertise (CoE) for Human Rights within E.ON's sustainability department
You will be responsible for conducting the risk analysis for E.ON's own operations in the context of the German Supply Chain Act (Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtengesetz/LkSG)
Based on this, you will prepare and continuously update E.ON's risk inventory and develop improvement plans and drive forward the implementation of measures, incl. the effectiveness review
You will be responsible for group-wide communication for human rights topics, e.g. by preparing presentations for different committees, writing and publishing Connect & website articles, and updating trainings
In addition, you will play an active role in driving the engagement with different stakeholder groups on sustainability topics
A convincing background
Passion to drive sustainability
Above-average university degree and first professional experience
Demonstrable affinity with and initial knowledge of human rights issues in the energy industry and in global supply chains, willingness to improve your knowledge with support of your fellow CoE colleagues
Familiar with topics related to data analysis
Embracing work in an international working environment; preferably prior work experience abroad and intercultural competence
Excellent interpersonal skills, team-working, communication and presentation skills
Ability to understand and assimilate complex topics quickly and enjoy working in cross-functional teams
Fluent business German and English language is a must.
