About the role

You would be working with pallet suppliers to negotiate on pricing and supply, maintaining an organised system so that the site is auditable, and analysing a number of KPIs. You'll use your experience and curiosity to find more efficient ways of managing transport and purchasing so that we can continuously improve our financial and customer service.

This role will also be responsible for ensuring that the Kettering site team and our transport providers adhere to our high safety standards, with responsibility for day to day activities in the goods in, reel store, and finished good despatch areas. Health and safety is the number one priority at DS Smith sites, so you'd be accountable for ensuring that our team are safe at work and following company policies at all times. You would work with the team to put effective processes in place that allow products to flow in and out of the loading areas efficiently.
