Locum Property Lawyer - Full Time - Fully Remote - Up to £55 per hour Umbrella - ASAP Start

Venn Group's specialist Public Sector Legal team is currently recruiting for a Locum Property Lawyer to join a well-regarded Local Government legal team on an interim basis, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to a busy and established Local Authority.

Role Details:

Position: Locum Property Lawyer

Working Arrangement: Full Time, fully remote working

Duration: Initial 3+ months with the possibility for extension

Rate: Up to £55 per hour umbrella

Start Date: As soon as possible

Duties may include:

• Managing a varied caseload of commercial and residential property matters
• Advising on disposals, landlord and tenant matters, and general property transactions
• Drafting and negotiating leases, licences, easements and other property agreements
• Advising on title issues, covenants, rights of way and other property-related matters
• Providing practical property law advice to internal stakeholders and client departments across the authority

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive (or equivalent) with experience of Property Law
• Experience working within Local Government or the Public Sector is desirable
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders and teams
