About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Business Analyst to join our team. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and the IT department, ensuring that technology solutions align with business needs. This role involves gathering requirements, analysing processes, and supporting the successful delivery of IT projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear IT requirements.

  • Analyse existing processes and recommend improvements or automation opportunities.

  • Create detailed documentation including business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows.

  • Support project planning, coordination, and implementation.

  • Collaborate with developers, engineers, and product teams to ensure solutions meet expectations.

  • Assist with system testing, UAT, and change management activities.

  • Monitor project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders.

  • Ensure alignment with IT standards, data governance, and security policies.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Experience working as a Business Analyst within IT or digital environments.

  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (Agile/Scrum preferred).

  • Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Visio, Power BI, or similar.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to translate complex technical information into business-friendly language.

  • Experience with process mapping and requirements documentation.

Where is the role based?

This role is fully remote, however, the right candidate will be happy to occasional travel to different locations in the UK for client meetings. Our hours of work are 8.30-5.30pm, however, if you are interested but are looking for alternative hours/days, please talk to us about your requirements and if we can accommodate them, we will!
