International Sales Assistant

ABOUT US:

Piece of Magic Entertainment (POM) is a theatrical distribution company bringing high-caliber content to cinemas around the world. From our offices in Amsterdam, we oversee international theatrical launches, developing bespoke and far-reaching campaigns, covering thousands of screens across 60+ countries. THE POSITION:

We are looking for a new member for our International Sales team. You will be part of a young, vibrant, and dynamic team of a fast-growing and diverse company.

Reporting to the International Sales Manager, and operating from our lovely Amsterdam office, this position will be a key component in our company's growth and bringing joy to cinema fans in thousands of screens across 60+ territories.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Update databases to monitor internal progress and assist in preparing external stakeholder communication.
• Prepare and deliver regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates to management, providing insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
• Benchmark competitive calendars and review comparable titles to pitch for release date and strategy forecasting.
• Assist in negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with exhibitors to close deals and ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
• Assist in building and maintaining strong relationships with exhibitors, understanding their needs and offering tailored release strategies.
• Identify and prospect potential clients, with a specific focus on independent cinemas, through market research, networking, and targeted outreach efforts.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, finance and operations, to ensure alignment of sales efforts with company objectives and rights-holder needs.
• Stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats.

Language: English (strong preference for additional German and/or Polish professional proficiency)

Hours: 40h/week

Working: Hybrid (min. 3 days/week commute to Amsterdam office required)

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

• Passion for film and entertainment. Interest in Gaming and/or Anime is a plus.
• 0-2 years' experience in a Sales role or similar.
• Excellent level of English (written and spoken).
• Strong preference for German and/or Polish professional proficiency.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Competent learner in a dynamic and fast-paced framework.
• You are a self-starter, thrive in a fast-paced environment and are able to remain calm under pressure.
• A good communicator and team-worker.
• Good understanding of data management and number tracking.
• Highly detail oriented.
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
