Your new role
As a Senior Estates Surveyor, you will play a key role in management and optimisation of the council's property assets. This initial six-month contract position involves the following:

• Managing a varied property portfolio including commercial, operational, and community assets.
• Undertaking lease negotiations, rent reviews, and property valuations.
• Supporting strategic estate planning and contributing to asset management initiatives.
• Advising internal stakeholders on property-related matters.

What you'll need to succeed

• A degree in estates management or a related discipline.
• MRICS membership.
• Proven experience working within property and estate management.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, delivering value through property assets.
