Role Overview Halma has a complex environment consisting of an HQ organisation and 40+ individual companies. The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for working in all infrastructure areas across M365, Azure and on-premises infrastructure, helping to implement best practices and new solutions where needed. They will also be responsible for performing end-to-end migration of M365 tenants into a single environment.This role would be working closely with and reporting into the M365 Technical Lead. Role Responsibilities Responsible for managing the end-to-end tenant migration process, including: performing detailed discovery of source tenant, performing the data migration, ensuring that the target tenant is appropriately configured and that all data and workflows are successfully migrated. Responsible for reviewing the Azure infrastructure across the businesses and ensure the well architected framework is being followed in terms of Cost, Reliability, Security, Operational Excellence & Performance. Responsible for maintaining and supporting the on-premises infrastructure, along with its integration into other systems. Responsible for creating detailed architectural diagrams and documentation. Responsible for giving guidance to the companies for new technologies and helping to implement new solutions. Responsible for ensuring changes are aligned with change control processes. Responsible for delivering on global projects to a high standard. Working collaboratively across our head office staff, to ensure uniformity and best practices across head office infrastructure solutions. Keeping up to date with new technologies trends and roadmaps, to ensure our infrastructure and solutions are in line with global trends. Role Prerequisites At least 5 years of experience with M365 & Azure Experience in delivering IT infrastructure and solutions in a global environment. Experience in M365 products including Exchange, SharePoint, Intune, Entra ID, Security and Compliance. Experience in leading the delivery of support to a large international user base. Knowledge of Identity Management and Authentication technologies (Azure AD, Azure AD Connect, ADFS, Federation & MFA and Conditional Access). Knowledge of Scripting tools such as PowerShell Experience and knowledge of migrations tools, such as Quest on Demand, ShareGate and BitTitan. A proven track record of successful implementation of several solutions within large client companies. Proven ability to translate complex technical issues into simple language that end users can easily understand.
