Freelance - IT Infrastructure Manager - Brussels

A client of Koda Staff's is actively looking for a freelance IT Infrastructure Manager to oversee infrastructure operations, lead modernization projects, and ensure system resilience for a complex and growing IT environment. You'll join a team focused on delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing systems in a mission-critical setting.

The client is based in Brussels and would expect you on site 2/3 days a week an 2/3 days remote.

Your Experience :

• Manage and optimize infrastructure components: servers, networks, storage, firewalls, endpoints, cloud environments (Azure/AWS)
• Oversee IT operations, including availability, disaster recovery, performance tuning, and incident management
• Lead infrastructure transformation projects (e.g., cloud migration, virtualization, datacentre upgrades)
• Ensure system security and compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements (ISO27001, GDPR, etc.)
• Drive process improvement, automation, and documentation
• Manage third-party vendors, contracts, and SLAs
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (IT, security, applications) to align infrastructure with business needs

Languages : English and Dutch or French (preferably fluent in all three languages)

Daily Rate : €900 - €1000 per day (flexible depending on experience)
