Location: Bristol

Pay Rate: £39.00 per hour (Inside IR35) - 35 hours per week + Overtime

Contract Type: 6-Month Contract (with potential extension)

IO Associates is currently seeking an experienced Industrial Leader to join a leading global aerospace organisation at their Bristol site. Renowned for cutting-edge innovation across commercial and military aircraft, helicopters, and space and defence systems, this is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of aerospace.

Responsibilities:

• Support supplier selection and industrialisation (Transfer of Work).
• Resolve plant disruptions and technical issues impacting delivery.
• Lead or support design/manufacturing changes with a focus on cost and feasibility.
• Drive cost-down initiatives and identify product/process improvements.
• Ensure clear communication across procurement, engineering, and operations.

Requirements

• Background in manufacturing engineering (metallic/composite parts, tooling, or assembly).
• Strong understanding of supplier industrialisation and continuous improvement.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and technical problem-solving skills.
