Job Description

We'relooking for two experienced and dynamic individuals tojoin the Oakland Care People Team as HR Business Partners! Ourideal candidates will be generalist HR professionals,providing advice and support in all areas of People Management - from EmployeeRelations to Wellbeing. You will also work with the Director of People and OrganisationalDevelopment to ensure the successful delivery of the People Strategy.   • We have vacancies for 2 roles due to arestructure within the team. 1 x full time (40 hours a week) and 1 x parttime (35 hours a week spread over 5 days).
  • The roles will cover Homes in London andthe Southeast with the expectation that you will be on site at each homein your region at least once a week.

Location: Regionalrole - on site at each home once a week. (Travel expenses paid)

Hours:1 x 40 hours a week and 1 x 35 hours a week spread over 5 days - 2 rolesavailable due to a restructure within the team.

Salary Pay:£45,000 Per annum (pro rata for the part time role) plus £3,000car allowance.


Qualifications,Knowledge, and Experience


  • 3 - 5 years' experience in a HR Business Partner or a similar HR Generalist level role.
  • Knowledge of HR policies and processes.
  • Minimum CIPD qualified level 5 or higher or proven level of experience gained.

KeyResponsibilities will include:

  • ManageEmployee Relations casework including absence management, capability andperformance in partnership with local Home Management teams.
  • Supportmanagers to complete paperwork in relation to all ER cases, includinginvestigation reports, dismissal letters, appeals and grievances.
  • Overseeand manage HR Compliance Audits across all homes and provide conciseadvice as necessary to General Managers and Business Administrators.
  • Collaboratewith the Director of People and Organisational Development to develop andupdate existing policies and procedures and assist with the introductionof new or revised HR policies.
  • Meetwith key stakeholders to discuss people challenges and provide advice asrequired.
  • Supportthe Head of L&D with talent review meetings and succession planning.
  • Coachand provide guidance to key stakeholders to improve business efficiency asrequired.
  • Manageand complete the payroll administration for Head Office employees.
  • Manageprojects to support the People strategy and ensure these are implementedeffectively at local home management level
  • Leadand manage the company Wellbeing including Wellbeing Champions across allsites and provide updates as required.
