Fitness to Practice / Healthcare Regulatory Solicitor - London - Up to £85,000 - REF941067DL

A highly regarded national regulatory and professional discipline team is seeking a Regulatory Solicitor to join its London office. The team is recognised for handling complex, sensitive fitness to practice matters on behalf of a wide range of professional regulators, particularly within the healthcare sector.

This is an excellent opportunity to take real ownership of cases, work closely with senior lawyers and develop specialist expertise in regulatory investigations and professional discipline proceedings.

The Role
  • Manage fitness to practice and professional discipline cases
  • Advise on procedural, evidential and case strategy issues
  • Act as key contact for witnesses and stakeholders
  • Oversee evidence gathering, disclosure and witness statements
  • Instruct experts and liaise with counsel and advocates
  • Draft allegations and prepare cases for hearing
  • Attend hearings, interim orders panels and committee proceedings
  • Present cases where appropriate on procedural or legal issues
  • Prepare final reports and recommendations at case conclusion
  • This role offers exposure to complex, high-profile regulatory matters with strong partner support
About You
  • Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years PQE
  • Experience in regulatory, disciplinary or litigation work
  • Fitness to practice or healthcare regulatory experience preferred
  • Strong investigative and case management skills
  • Confident handling of sensitive and confidential material
  • Excellent drafting and analytical ability
  • Strong communication skills with a professional approach to stakeholders
  • Organised, resilient and able to manage competing deadlines
