Head of Talent Acquisition EMEA - Mandarin Speaker

I am delighted to be supporting a global Tech and FMCG business with their search for a Director of Talent for their EMEA region, based in the City of London. This person will lead a team of 15 Talent professionals, and must be fluent or native in Mandarin, and fluent in English. Relocation packages and working visa for the UK are on offer for this role, so international applicants are very welcome.
This growing organisation have some ambitious growth plans, so need an autonomous and proactive Talent professional with experience in a similar global leadership role, and ideally this person will have worked either in Big Tech or FMCG
The organisation have fantastic offices with complimentary lunch on site, hybrid working with a minimum of three to four days in the City of London office each week, and a very competitive bonus and benefits package.
What you will do
- Building strong partnerships with the Executive Leadership Team to anticipate hiring requirements.
- Building and leading an exceptional team of Talent Acquisition professionals.
- Managing talent pools and networks to build a pipeline for future needs across Technology and senior-level hires.
- Thorough understanding of the full recruitment life cycle from sourcing, interviewing, employment laws, up to date salary benchmarking and negotiating complex offers
- Keeping market knowledge and trends up to date
- Find the best talent in your market by networking, headhunting, and attending industry events.
- Devising and implementing individual hiring strategies across multiple locations in the EMEA region
- Brand ambassador for all matters concerning employer brand, working closely with hiring managers to live the values and deliver a fantastic candidate experience
- Act as a strategic talent acquisition business partner with key stakeholders, providing thought leadership in talent acquisition strategy and sourcing activities.
Who you are
- Native Mandarin speaker with a proven track record in leadership roles within Talent Acquisition within Big Tech or Global FMCG
- Minimum 5 years of recruitment experience in technology or FMCG roles with deep expertise and knowledge across EMEA
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience within Talent Acquisition
- Deep understanding of workforce planning and the impacts on commercial objectives
- Strong ability to leverage market data and people analytics to influence and drive strategic talent attraction strategies.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
