Job Description
Coffee Culture owns several independent coffee houses across the county and are a specialist coffee roasters in Worcestershire. We are acquiring a new site in ledbury, which is currently operating as a well established brunch and lunch cafe.
_The current owners are retiring and we are purchasing the café business as a ongoing concern from _January _2026. We're looking for a champion in the kitchen to lead a small team with 1) maintaining its already high standard and 2) bring some fresh thoughts to the menu to match the good coffee experience we are famous for. Our thoughts are to create a bistro concept with _European _comfort food and _New Zealand brunch.
_We are looking for an enthusiastic, trained chef who will join us in developing the_
_brunch and lunch food menu and help develop the existing baking_
_products._
_This is a daytime gig but are looking to potentially grow into a few evenings a week for_
_a small, dinner party style service in the second quarter of 2026. Plenty of scope to_
_grow in our business and would love to develop this role to be a head of food as we_
_grow our coffeehouse & cafe portfolio across the West Midlands and the Cotswolds over the next 3 years._
_We like warm and welcoming people to work within the small, but humour filled team._
_you won't be treated like a robot or a corporate number! parking is provided at the_
_store and can be flexible hours but must be able to work weekends._

_Key Responsibilities_
_• Lead and motivate the kitchen team_
_• Manage menu development, food prep, and inventory_
_• Oversee recruitment, training, and scheduling_
_• Ensure food safety and hygiene standards_
_• Collaborate with front of house for smooth service_
_• Monitor costs and minimise waste_
_What We're Looking For_
_• Experience managing a fast-paced kitchen (2 years preferred)_
_• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills_
_• Creative, reliable, and detail-oriented_
_• Financially aware and results-driven_
_This role is essential in ensuring that our food production and preparation processes_
_run smoothly, contributing to the overall success of our kitchen operations. The ideal_
_candidate will have a strong background in food safety and culinary practices, with a_
_keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes._
