Job Description
Examinations Officer

Salary: £26,592 - £29,838 (per annum)

Contract Type: Fixed term for 18 months

Hours: 37 hours per week

Location: Crewe Campus

We are seeking a dynamic Examinations Officer to join our busy team. This is an excellent opportunity for an adaptable individual to make a difference in the provision of a quality support service for learners and staff. Experience in an Exams Team would be beneficial, however if you can demonstrate exceptional administrative skills, resilience and the willingness to communicate closely with a wider team to achieve goals, we would welcome your application.

Responsibilities
  • Provide advice and guidance to ensure the College complies with all awarding body requirements
  • Ensure the security of all confidential examination materials
  • Liaise with awarding bodies
  • Supervise the administration of the post-results services of the awarding bodies
  • Support the integrity and accuracy of exam registration and achievement data held within the MIS
  • Deputise for the Examinations manager
  • Promote the welfare of children and young people
Qualifications
  • GCSE Grade C (4/5) or above in English and Maths (or equivalent)
  • Demonstrable experience of the ability to develop positive working relationships across an organisation and with external links
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
