- Own the full delivery lifecycle, including backlog from scoping through to post deployment support.
- Ensure delivery practices support agility, transparency, and predictability across all workstreams.
- Monitor and manage risk, issues, and dependencies proactively across technical and business teams.
- Line manage Business Analysts, supporting career development and engagement.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
- Own and report on OKRs and KPIs relevant to engineering and delivery performance.
- Provide clear performance goals, regular feedback, and support to grow individual capability.
- Working with the Engineering Manager ensure resourcing, onboarding, and succession plans align with evolving delivery needs.
- Translate complex delivery progress into clear updates for business and transformation leaders.
- Work closely with Business Partners, Architect, Engineering Manager and Business Analysts to align priorities and expectations.
- Facilitate cross team planning and communication to reduce silos and increase transparency.
- Escalate blockers early with solutions focused dialogue across stakeholders.
- Ensure teams follow structured SDLC practices, including CI/CD, testing, and code reviews.
- Promote standardisation of platforms, tools, and documentation across delivery streams.
- Partner with Solution Architects to align implementation with scalable design principles.
- Identify technical debt and lead initiatives to manage and reduce it over time.
- Collaborate with Product, Architecture, and Enablement leads to align roadmaps with execution capacity.
- Use data and retrospectives to evolve sprint planning, estimation, and throughput.
- Track delivery metrics (velocity, burn downs, throughput) and act on insights.
- Standardise delivery templates, governance, and tooling to increase team efficiency.
- Proven experience managing cross functional technical teams, including Software Engineers, Salesforce professionals, and Integration Engineers, with a track record of delivering complex programmes or transformation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of delivery methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, hybrid) and the ability to tailor approaches to suit team maturity, technical stack, and business priorities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and collaborate effectively across Product, Architecture, and Business Operations teams.
- Hands on knowledge of enterprise platforms such as Salesforce and MuleSoft, with the ability to guide technical teams while understanding the implications of decisions on scalability, integration, and business value.
