Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Corporate Services Manager will play a key leadership role in supporting the company's strategic and operational objectives. The successful candidate will manage business systems, compliance, and administrative functions, ensuring effective coordination between our field operations, HR, finance, and client service teams.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day corporate operations of the business, including HR, finance administration, procurement, and general office management.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and systems to improve operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Analyse and report on business performance, budgeting, and cost management, providing insights to management for strategic decision-making.
  • Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning in line with the company's operational needs.
  • Liaise with external partners such as insurers, accountants, regulatory bodies, and government agencies.
  • Oversee workplace health and safety (WHS) compliance, training programs, and quality assurance processes.
  • Support management with tender preparation, contract administration, and supplier management.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across logistics and transport operations.
Qualifications & experience
  • Minimum three (5) years' experience in a senior business management or corporate services role, preferably within the logistics, transport, or removals industry.
  • Strong understanding of business administration, human resources, and operational management frameworks.
  • Proven experience implementing business improvement processes and performance monitoring systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, analyse financial reports, and support strategic planning.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in office and business management software (Microsoft 365, Xero, CRM systems).
  • A tertiary qualification in Business, Management, or a related field (highly regarded).
  • Commitment to workplace safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
