Contract Manager

Position: Contract Manager

As Contract Manager, you are responsible for ensuring smooth collaboration between the client and contractor within the contract framework. You act as the link between contractors and the company, the client, by managing the contracts, monitoring and overseeing compliance with agreements with contractors, and making adjustments and corrections where necessary.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Ensure all contractual agreements, obligations, conditions, assumptions, expectations, risks and objectives are met from the moment of signing through to completion of the contract;

• Disseminate and further develop the company policy in the field of contract management to project team members and other stakeholders;

• Ensuring a controlled process surrounding contract changes by, among other things, drawing up and handling RFCs and claims;

• Organizing, conducting and (having) administered the necessary consultations with the various stakeholders, including recording in project and contract files;

• Manage all contract-related documents, overviews and correspondence in a clear manner;

• Eliminate or reduce contractual defects, gaps, ambiguities and differences in interpretation;

• Functioning as a central point of contact at tactical level for agreements with contractors and suppliers;

• Exchange of experiences and lessons learned with other contract managers and the relevant interfaces of the projects for the purpose of continuous optimization of the contracts.

• Supporting project purchasers to ensure implementation interests are included in contract formation.

Profile requirements

• You have a higher professional education/university work and thinking level with at least 5 to 8 years of work experience;

• You have demonstrable experience in drafting and supervising UAV and UAV-gc contracts;

• Knowledge and experience with contract claim and conflict management;

• Knowledge and experience with complex projects, preferably in infrastructure;

• Knowledge and experience with system-oriented contract management (SCB) and works according to Systems Engineering methodology;

• Previous work experience with infrastructure contractors is an advantage
