The role

As a Construction Supervisor, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. If you can bring technical expertise, leadership skills, and a strong commitment to safety, we can offer you the opportunity to be part of one of the most exciting engineering projects in the UK.

Day-to-day, you'll lead and motivate a group(s) of constructive and multi-disciplined teams to safely deliver defined packages of work within the Marine business area. Additionally, you will:

• Manage workloads to meet contract requirements while achieving cost, time, and quality targets
• Establish and maintain safe working practices and ensure the working environment aligns with company policy
• Set daily production targets for employees and ensure they are met
• Take ownership of activity levels within your area
• Liaise with planning, materials, warehousing, quality, and other support functions to ensure a coordinated team approach

This role is full time, 36 hours per week Monday to Thursday and is based on site at Rosyth.

Essential experience of the Construction Supervisor

• Clear understanding of the importance of safe, healthy, and environmentally effective systems of work
• Proactive leadership with a willingness to take responsibility
• Driven, enthusiastic, and determined to succeed
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence individual and group behaviour
• Encourage participation and collaboration across the team

Qualifications for the Construction Supervisor

• Time-served with experience in mechanical installation within shipbuilding and repair
• Formal mechanical technical qualifications

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
