Asbestos Lab Analyst - Norfolk

Job Description

Our client is a successful UKAS accredited and client based asbestos consultancy in the South and is actively seeking a tenacious, focused and committed Asbestos Lab Analyst to join their busy office/laboratory in and around the Norfolk area. The role involves logging samples, preparing samples for analysis, carrying out fibre content analysis, completing record forms, typing certificates of analysis, ensuring workload is complete within the time scale and taking on other laboratory and ad hoc duties. Applications from Kings Lynn, Norwich, Wisbech and surrounding areas are welcomed.

Qualifications & Experience

• Must possess the P401 certificate and have significant experience working in a laboratory environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in using the Microsoft Office package.
• Demonstrated ability to receive and log samples, prepare samples, carry out analysis, complete record forms and type certificates of analysis.
• Ability to handle other laboratory and ad hoc duties.
