Asbestos Consultant/Trainer - London

Our client is a well-regarded and successful asbestos company who provide a wide range of asbestos services to clients across the UK. They are currently seeking the services of a driven and experienced Asbestos Consultant/Trainer based in the London area. The role would suit an asbestos consultant with extensive experience in the asbestos industry who is looking for further progression. Previous experience delivering and conducting training sessions to colleagues will also be beneficial. Consideration will be given to applications from Ilford, Dartford, Harlow, Enfield, and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience

• Hold the P401, P402, P403, P404, P405 asbestos qualifications or equivalent.
• Holding the CCP/Assessor qualification or any other qualification relating to the role would be beneficial.
• Experience delivering a wide range of asbestos surveying and analytical duties to a varied site base.
• Must have significant experience of working in the asbestos industry.
• Previous experience delivering asbestos training courses would be beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Competent with Microsoft office package.
• Interested in candidates with s301 CCP.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on a variety of properties including domestic/commercial/industrial.
• Undertaking smoke, background, leak, reassurance, visual, 4 stage clearances, re-occupation and personal air testing.
• Delivering Asbestos Training courses to clients and staff from all levels.
• Travelling to designated sites and delivering courses nationwide, so must be prepared to travel.
• Getting involved with the development and assessment programmes.
• Ensuring that the facilities have the right provision to deliver the courses.
• Following the company's procedures and policies.
• Ensuring that Health & Safety procedures are followed.
• Developing new business for the company.
