Asbestos Bid Manager - Oxford

Our client is a fast moving environmental, Health & Safety, and Risk Management service company that delivers high quality solutions to high profile clients across the UK. We are looking for an enthusiastic, articulate Asbestos Bid Manager based in the Oxford area, with strong experience managing the asbestos bid process, including technical and quality aspects. Candidates from Oxford, Slough, Reading, and surrounding areas will receive priority consideration.

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong educational, sales technical, professional, and managerial background within the asbestos/environmental market.
• Excellent communication, people management, organisational, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Proven track record working as a Bid Manager in the asbestos and environmental industry.

Key Duties

• Collect, collate, and submit all bids, tenders, PQQs, and corporate documents within strict timelines and to a high standard.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all information is consistent and up to date.
• Identify and pursue asbestos consultancy opportunities across commercial, public, and private sectors.
• Oversee the bid qualification process and manage bid inputs.
• Prepare and review the technical and quality aspects of each bid.
• Maintain client information and ensure tenders are submitted accurately and on time.
• Draft written proposals and summarise them for senior management.
• Resolve technical and other issues that arise during the bidding process.
• Arrange reviews and gather feedback from the company's portfolio of clients.
• Continuously improve tender documentation and other bid-related materials.
• Take end to end responsibility for winning bids and the overall bid process.
• Build and maintain strong relationships across the company's mixed client portfolio.
