Job Description

Location: Headquarters, Northallerton, with the opportunity for hybrid working

Contract: Permanent, contractually employed by NYP

Hours: Full Time, 37 hours per week

The Opportunity

We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Administrator to join our Organisational, Learning, Development and Inclusion team.

This is a great opportunity to play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality learning and development services across the organisation. You'll be at the heart of our operations-ensuring everything runs smoothly by providing accurate, timely, and dependable administrative support.

With a strong focus on customer service and data accuracy, your work will directly contribute to delivering meaningful outcomes for frontline policing. You'll also be part of a collaborative, inclusive team working across the organisation to ensure services are aligned and reflect our core values and behaviours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide efficient, accurate administrative support across the team
  • Support the coordination of meetings, events, and conferences
  • Maintain and update records and systems with a high level of accuracy
  • Produce management information, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Monitor workflows, deadlines, and service level agreements to drive continuous improvement
  • Build strong working relationships with colleagues across the organisation
  • Respond to queries, offer guidance, and direct customers to the right information
  • Liaise with external partners and agencies where required
  • Support the coordination of organisational events across NYP
What We're Looking For
  • Proven administrative experience with strong organisational skills
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage with a wide range of people
  • High attention to detail with a "right first time" mindset
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Experience handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • A flexible, proactive, and solution focused approach
