Purpose of the Job

This Account manager role sits within our Central Order Window team on this leading Beverage account. You will act as the single point of contact for the Integrated Design Team, brand teams and procurement. Led by a dedicated Account Director, this team ensures seamless coordination and execution across global markets.

This role plays a key part in delivering exceptional service to our global beverage client by managing complex, high-value projects with precision and professionalism.

In Overview You Will

  • Lead the management of global order windows, ensuring flawless execution across multiple markets and timelines
  • Work closely with clients, suppliers and internal teams to deliver projects on time, to specification, and to the highest quality standards
  • Take full ownership of Point of Sale Materials (POSM) for a global brand, including negotiating costings, timelines, and selecting the most suitable suppliers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels, acting as a trusted advisor and problem solver
  • Operate on a Hybrid basis with 1 to 2 days per week on-site with the client in Amsterdam, NL

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical input and advice on POSM / Merchandise projects as required
  • Take briefs from the client including full specification details and deadline dates and manage from start to finish, suggesting alternative options and innovation where possible
  • Produce detailed specifications for internal and external clients based on client knowledge, brief suppliers on client requirements
  • Deliver a high level of customer service
  • Monitor projects to ensure they are delivered to specification and on time, ensuring activity is recorded using the designated company tools
  • Implement new methods and procedures as required
  • Work as a team to help deliver contractual requirements, prepare presentations and complete necessary account admin and reporting
  • Ensure invoicing procedures are followed
  • Attending client and supplier meeting at a variety of locations as required
  • Agree and manage budget and P+L to ensure profit is maximized through performance analysis
  • Deliver services to meet and exceed contracted SLAs
  • Manage and monitor objectives to meet key business drivers
  • Ensure compliance with Regulatory and Company policies
  • Measure customer satisfaction and take appropriate action

Knowledge, Skills + Experience

  • Experience in a client facing role is essential and within POSM across the drinks sector ideally
  • Account Management experience, working within a contracted environment to strict SLAs (service level agreements) and KPIs (key performance indicators)
  • Proven expertise in managing high-value global order windows is essential, including a deep understanding of the associated complexities such as China sourcing, Incoterms and logistics mapping
  • Exceptional project management capabilities are required, with strong skills in overseeing WIPs, maintaining full project visibility, and ensuring flawless execution across multiple timelines
  • Experience in troubleshooting unexpected project issues and implementing preventative measures is preferred
  • Ownership and management experience is desirable
  • Numerate with a strong commercial understanding
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills, able to prioritize workload in a high energy environment
  • Is professional, courteous and calm under pressure
  • Has a project management mind-set
  • Process driven, with an eye to sales and business development
  • Approachable and confident to offer advice in meetings
  • Able to manage and communicate with key client stakeholders to successfully deliver and exceed their expectations
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office
