2 Experienced administrative or legal officer (paralegal) (m/f)

You will be responsible for providing legal, administrative and organisational support within the CSSF's legal department. On a day-to-day basis, you will carry out various tasks, in particular the administrative processing and prior legal analysis of external complaints and whistleblowing, research, verification and analysis of data, coordination, analysis and drafting, including on legal issues - and this in close collaboration with the legal experts in the department in charge of processing these complaints and whistleblowing, as well as with CSSF staff in general.
Role & responsibilities- To carry out a preliminary analysis of external complaints and whistleblowing, in collaboration with the department's legal experts, including their administrative processing and a legal analysis of these files, including the drafting of correspondence
- Organising and filing external complaints and whistleblowing files
- Searching internal and external databases, in particular to verify the accuracy and compliance of documents and information received
- Performing various analytical tasks, including specific legal issues, and drawing up actions to be taken, particularly with regard to external complaints and/or whistleblowing
- Drafting reports, minutes, correspondence and standard legal documents
- Drawing up tables, lists and various statistics, particularly in relation to external complaints and whistleblowing
- Updating databases
- Any other administrative or legal task, whether or not related to the handling of external complaints and whistleblowing
- Bachelor's degree (Bac +3) in law or higher technical diploma (BTS) as a legal assistant or administrative officer specialising in law
- At least 3 years' relevant experience as a legal or administrative assistant, paralegal or legal secretary. Experience in handling claims in a financial sector entity will be considered an asset
- Fluency in written and spoken French and English. Fluency in German and/or Luxembourgish would be considered an asset
- Good knowledge of legal concepts and administrative and regulatory procedures applicable in Luxembourg, and more specifically within the financial sector
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Very good writing skills
- Ability to manage several projects and establish priorities
- A critical mind and good analytical and summarising skills
- Proactive, rigorous and able to work independently, with a natural interest and willingness to exchange and share knowledge
- Attention to detail
The successful candidate (m/f) will be hired as public employee ("employé de l'Etat") under a permanent contract. If the candidate meets the required conditions, s/he will be asked to apply for admission to the status of civil servant ("fonctionnaire de l'Etat").
Prior to the conclusion of the contract, the candidate must submit an extract from the criminal record (bulletin n 3), dated less than 2 months, in order to prove their conduct and integrity.
