Job Title: Water Treatment Contract Manager

Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire

Salary: £34k - £45k + Company Car + Bonus Scheme

Overview

Independent and expanding water treatment company is recruiting a professional and commercial focused Water Treatment Contract Manager to oversee a portfolio of healthcare contracts across the South East/Home Counties region. The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience working for an established water company, managing all aspects of water treatment works, organising teams of site staff and ensuring works are carried out to a high standard. In return, the client can offer a competitive salary, bonus scheme and a company car.

Experience
  • Experience working within the Water Treatment / Water Hygiene / Legionella industry is essential.
  • Experience in a supervisor / account manager / operations manager or contract manager position within an established water company.
  • Strong management and leadership skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of HSG / ACoP L8 guidelines.
  • Extensive knowledge of water treatment Health & Safety processes, and RAMS.
  • Ability to communicate efficiently with clients and colleagues of all levels.
Duties
  • Oversee a portfolio of healthcare contracts, delivering all aspects of contract management from setting up and monitoring PPM works, quoting and organisation of extra works, overseeing subcontractors and maintaining profit margins.
  • Manage site schedules - booking in works, raising calls, procurement of materials, collating paperwork, closing calls and invoicing.
  • Maintain client relations by attending progress meetings and site visits.
  • Ensure all work is carried out to a high standard and compliant with company H&S guidelines.
  • Manage teams of engineers and technicians, providing continuous development and training.
  • Promote a positive team environment and company values.
  • Organise site staff and delegate work and responsibilities to the team.
  • Survey and estimate jobs, through to completion and invoicing.
  • Assist with water treatment / hygiene works as required.
